I have several cans of paint that need to be recycled; do you know what I can do with them?

Please visit butlercountyrecycles.org for a complete list of items and information.  Not all services are available all year so please check the dates.  Paint and other HHW (Household Hazardous Waste) items are accepted at Environmental Enterprises, 10163 Cincinnati-Dayton Rd, West Chester, OH 45069 every Thursday from 2-7; June – September.

 

While we are on the subject of recycling…DID YOU KNOW that Rumpke Recycling can now take plastic bottles with the caps on thanks to advances in recycling collection and processing technology.

 

Can I install A fence?

Yes.  A vinyl or split rail fence is permitted in the rear yard only and not to exceed 48″ tall.  Privacy fences are not permitted.

 

 

Can I have a storage barn on my property?

Yes.  A storage barn is permitted but shall not exceed a maximum of 150 sq.ft. and be not closer than 10 feet to any property line.  Any storage barn shall be constructed of brick or vinyl siding.  The siding and roof of the storage barn shall match the siding and roof of the residence.  Would also check with Liberty Township Zone on any rules and HOA details are in the Allen Estates HOA Covanents.

 

 

I'm wanting to do something outside the house not covered by HOA Covenants what so I do first?

Please first check with Liberty Township Zoning first at:

If Liberty Township Zoning covers the question and is a valid request there BEFORE proceeding with any work fill out an Allen Estates HOA Variance Request.  Why do we ask for a Variance Request?  It's to ensure if any issues or complaints arise, the HOA board is already aware.

What can I do my neighbor damaged my property?

If the matter is specifically a violation of Allen Estates HOA guidelines we're happy to address the issue.  If a violation of Liberty Township Zoning, they should address the issue.  Otherwise it's considered a personal matter.

 

 

Just received a letter showing my Allen Estate HOA fees are past due, what should I do?
